: country will share copy right to other counties. Same rights are given to foreign authors as the authors of the home country.

TRIPS: Trade related aspects of property rights
159 counties have this agreement.
Many ways parallel the Rome treaty.
Includes software
It imposes obligations on member countries.
Have dispute resolutions between countries.
Can use trade sanctions in payment for an abuse of one country not following the treaty

Wipo Treaty on Exceptions for the visually impaired
:
Treaty gives authority to organizations that create material to be converted to formats for use for impaired consumers. Authorized organizations can also share the material between countries.
Limits the scope of copyright law.
Copyright law: protects authorships: no administrative requirements.
Patent law: protects inventions. To apply for a patient, an inventor must comply with multiple administrative requirements. Must prove that their inventions is useful, novel and non-obvious

Beme convention
:
Contains grand portions of the other six treaties. It was the first to be adopted. Started in 1858 and 10 countries are involved. Now 167 countries participate in this treaty.

: is an anti-counterfeiting trade agreement = still being discussed.
