Quite a few months ago I attended a writing workshop called. I write. One of the presenters gave some wonderful ideas on how to write better romance. I thought I wrote down her name but I don’t see it seeing it. Here is a continuation of writing romance.

Combine awareness of the physical through a gradual progression. Here is a sequence

– Eye to body

– Eye to eye contact (don’t overuse) search for eye

– Voice to voice contact

– First Hand to hand contact, make it a big deal,

– Arm to shoulder (shows beginning ownership)

– Arm to waist contact (dancing good way to accomplish this

– Kissing – build up to the kissing scene.

– Sexual tension is more in mind than anywhere else – Linda Howard.

– Hand to head (touching the head is the most vulnerable part of the body)

– Movie: return to me. He listens to her heart. One character gets a haircut, or they doing a job that causes hand contact.
