Utah state treasurer gave a presentation about Natural Asset Company (NAC). Treasurer Oaks opposes a proposal under consideration by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that would allow for the creation and listing of a new type of company called a Natural Asset Company (NAC) on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE)

I am opposed to allowing the Filing of Proposed Rule Change to Amend the NYSE Listed Company Manual to Adopt Listing Standards for Natural Asset Companies. Who has such a right, except God Himself and the people he loves and gives property rights, to determine standards for natural assets. Government needs to back off . . . not take more control even to the point of determining the course of NATURE.
