This are notes I took during a workshop on house buying. Any misinformation is the fault of the note taker.
- Use the online list as it is most current property list to see what has been removed.
- Don’t do in-depth due diligence until about the last week.
- Get exact start and stop of auction.
- Narrowed the list down to the most valuable. and removed vacant. etc.
- Take out columns you don’t need in an initial first visit.
- Property on zillo says it’s not for sale, ignore that. It just means that’s it’s not on the market.
- Blue link that points to the opening bid, improvement amount.
- The bigger the list, the more chance people can get a property they like.
- You need to see what real-estate values are going up to determine where to buy.
- Maybe talk to investors who want to buy land. maybe ask investors where they’re looking.
- CA: real-estate properties are high in ca.
- If going through foreclosure, you ca still buy it.
- Call the country about question about 60 days hold title.
- Zillo will not bring up apt. just homes.
