– Steps on communication:
– 1. Concentrate and focus on the speaker’s words.
– 2. Appreciate look at the speakers use smaller words than the speaker
– 3. Review and repeat what you’ve heard
– 4. Ask did I understand and wait for an answer?
– 5. One person had a goal to repeat a person’s name four times in a first conversation to make that the contact is memorable.
– 6. Many have the challenge of spending too much time on a response rather than what is said.
– 7. We must ask from our father and seek help through the atonement of Christ for physical and spiritual things.
– 8. Goals: send time reverently listening for prompts.
