Good: vacuum
Bad: vaccume
I still have a problem with this word. One way to remember. You vacuum to get the dirt out from under the surface of the carpet. Want to do a good job, do it twice. So U twice, means vacuum twice Under the carpet twice. VacUUm.
I keep putting an e at the end. It’s the vacuum that is doing the work, no me. So don’t add the mE. That one is stretching it a little until I can come up with a better idea.
I would be happy to hear a better way to know how to remember the spelling on this if you have a suggestion.
