A number of months ago I attended, and I write workshop. There were some wonderful presentations on writing. This is a couple of notes I wrote up about page synopsis as presented by Donna K. Weaver.
– Length, 250 words,
-Much of this info is available from Susan Dennard site: Look up her notes on her site.
-This process is for a short synopsis. Look at publisher and see what they want.
-Complete summary of story in first person, include major points, key conflicts and resolutions.
-Name three characters by their name and the rest, refer to them by role.
-Stick to main plot. (not subplots)
It’s a short list, but she had wonderful device. Do you have ideas to add? Please feel free to add additional recommendations in the comment section this blog
